Techno DJ and producer Tommy Four Seven headlines RX SATURDAZE at FLUX on Saturday 1 August, presented by RX Istanbul. Originally from the United Kingdom and later based in Berlin, Tommy Four Seven first gained international recognition through releases on Chris Liebing’s CLR label before launching his own imprint, 47. His work explores the intersection of techno, industrial, ambient and experimental electronics, resulting in records that are as textural as they are forceful. Albums including Primate and Veer, along with numerous EPs and collaborations, have established him as an artist equally comfortable in the club and on more exploratory listening projects.
Beyond his productions, Tommy Four Seven has earned a reputation as one of techno’s most technically accomplished selectors. His DJ sets favour tension, atmosphere and carefully controlled progression over predictable peaks, drawing from a broad spectrum of contemporary electronic music while maintaining an unmistakably personal identity. This approach has made him a regular presence at leading festivals and clubs across Europe and beyond.
