(June 18) Geneva Camerata @ Zorlu PSM

Prepare to experience a daring fusion of classical music and electrifying hip-hop dance in an unprecedented performance by the Geneva Camerata on Wednesday 18 June at the IKSV 53rd Music Festival in Istanbul. Revolta is more than a concert, it’s a revolution in artistic expression, blending the raw intensity of krump and hip-hop with the grandeur of Shostakovich’s Fifth Symphony. Tickets are available at Passo.

Under the visionary direction of David Greilsammer and featuring choreography by Kader Attou and Grichka, this groundbreaking show will bring together four dynamic hip-hop dancers alongside the orchestra’s musicians, who don’t just play, but dance in harmony with the rhythm of rebellion. Revolta explores themes of tolerance, courage, and freedom.

The orchestra has created groundbreaking projects like Titane, where musicians perform Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 while dancing, and Skate Park Symphony, which merges Mozart with urban arts and skateboarding. Geneva Camerata has performed at prestigious venues worldwide, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Montreux Jazz Festival, and the Istanbul Music Festival. Don’t miss their next Istanbul performance.
