From the organizer:

Test fast, Fail cheap!

So that you increase the success rate of your product and keep your limited resources and time to yourself!

With this two day applied course we will be going through the rapid prototyping techniques used for tests that are used to understand user behaviour patterns in different types of product development projects.

Regardless of the topic, Rapid Prototyping is a very fast and cost-effective, co-creation technique that is applicable in all sorts of product development projects.

In today’s product world, whether in Architecture, Digital or Industrial, a process that is designed to co-develop a product with its manufacturer and its end-user together, often ensures the increase of the product value, brand recognition and financial income of the entity and so the success of the product.

With rapid prototyping techniques in hand, Physical and digital designs are exposed to the end user in the fastest and the most cost-effective ways. So, the problem-solution hypothesis are tested with the minimum time and financial risk.

This way we know if the ideas work or not early on and apply the proper iterations accordingly.

In this course, You will learn;

1- Where do we use rapid prototyping techniques?

2- How do we plan before preparing a test & a prototype?

3- What sorts of creative tests we can design to better understand user behaviour?

4- What sorts of materials we can use for what?

5- What sorts of tools do we need while making prototypes?

6- On the second day of the workshop, participants will be asked and guided to make their own rapid prototype to test a hypothesis.
