From the organizer:

With their unique style inspired by different genres such as downtempo, drum’n’bass and jazz, Manchester based English electronic music group Lamb will be performing in 4th of December at Zorlu PSM Studio!

Lamb were formed in 1994 by producer Andrew Barlow and vocalist Louise Rhodes. In 1995, the group signed a contract with Mercury Records for almost 6 albums, which enabled them to enter the music world together. They released their first album, the self-titled Lamb in September 1996, and followed this up with another three albums and lots of singles over the next 8 years. In 2001, they released “What Sound” album and the single “Gabriel” became the most successful song in the album. In 2003, they produced “Between Darkness” and launched it to the music world. The “Best Kept Secrets” album was released in 2004 and it turned out to be a big hit in the UK. This album helped them to create a positive impression for the audience who collected unforgettable moments at the Lamb’s tour.

Lamb started their music in Manchester, however their contradictive, complex musical style is associated with the Bristol-based trip-top, which was popular during the 90s. They use different music colors and create mixtures from jazz, dub, breaks and drum’n’bass supporting with a strong vocal element. The distinctive mixture that is created by different music genres, reveals unusual taste of music. Lamb’s most popular and most well-known song is “Górecki” which is inspired from Henryk Górecki’s Third Symphony called “the Symphony of Sorrowful Songs”. The song also used in a Guinness advertisement and in the Tomb Raider: Underworld video games.
