Formed in Sydney in 2006, Thy Art Is Murder quickly rose to prominence with their blend of technical precision and uncompromising aggression. Their 2012 breakthrough album Hate established them as leaders of the global deathcore scene, combining sharp production with themes that confront religion, conflict, and control. Later releases like Holy War, Dear Desolation, and Human Target expanded that approach, refining their sound while keeping the intensity intact. Their most recent album, Godlike (2023), continues that evolution, pairing speed and precision with a direct, focused message.
Supporting them on stage are Kaptan Kadavra and Sails of Serenity, two names helping define the next wave of Turkish metal. Kaptan Kadavra mix heavy riffs with a theatrical and melodic edge, creating performances that are both energetic and distinctive. Sails of Serenity bring a modern metalcore sensibility, blending emotional vocals and intricate instrumentation with strong production and stage presence.
