Brighton-based post punk and noise rock group DITZ is making their long-awaited Istanbul debut on Wednesday, November 26 at Blind, as part of their European “Never Exhale” album tour. Known for their gritty sound and relentless energy, the band has carved out a place in the UK and European underground scenes, and now brings that same intensity to a new audience in Turkey. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this unique night. Tickets are available on Passo.

Following their debut album The Great Regression, DITZ spent more than 100 days a year on the road, with much of their new material coming together between shows. The songs on Never Exhale were shaped in rehearsal rooms and during travel, reflecting the band’s belief that live performance is where their music truly comes alive. The album was eventually recorded in a cold January in London’s Holy Mountain studio, after plans to record in Rhode Island shifted due to a tour opportunity with IDLES. Still, the mixing was done by original collaborator Seth Manchester, known for his work with artists like Lingua Ignota and Big Brave.
Musically, Never Exhale is raw and layered. Tracks like “Taxi Man” confront themes such as aging, disconnection from the body, and systemic injustice. The band draws inspiration from classic noise and post hardcore acts like Shellac, The Fall, and The Jesus Lizard, while tracks like “Britney” hint at more atmospheric influences from Mogwai or Radiohead. It is an album that rewards repeated listens, revealing new textures each time.
DITZ’s live presence is unpolished in the best way, loud, intense, and emotionally immediate. Their show at Blind is not about spectacle, but about channeling the weight and tension of their music into something direct and physical. For fans of uncompromising guitar music, this is a concert worth checking out. Tickets are available now at passo.
