(Oct 23) Warmduscher @ Blind

London-based post-punk band Warmduscher will be performing on Thursday 23 October at Blind in Istanbul. Initially formed as an impromptu band for a New Year’s Eve house party, Warmduscher quickly gained recognition for their wild, high-energy performances. Tickets are available at Biletix and Bugece.

The group emerged from a collaboration between members of Fat White Family and Paranoid London, creating a sound that blends punk, funk, and electronic elements. Their name ‘Warmduscher’ is a German term that colloquially refers to someone perceived as a wimp, adding a layer of irony to their bold musical style. Their debut album, Khaki Tears, set the tone for their chaotic yet infectious style. Their subsequent album, Whale City, has been praised for its twisted riffs. Their third album, Tainted Lunch, further solidified their status as one of the most unpredictable acts in the UK music scene.

Their latest release, Too Cold to Hold, showcases an ambitious mix of punk-rock riffs, hypnotic gqom grooves, and hip-hop beats. Their evolution from spontaneous, improvisational performances reflects their commitment to pushing musical boundaries while maintaining their distinctive edge. Don’t miss their unique sound and energetic performance in Istanbul. Get your ticket at Biletix and Bugece.
