Yabangee Presents: A Winter Welcoming Holiday Social and Coat Drive

Winter is nearly upon us, so we thought we’d throw a welcoming party! (We really had to restrain ourselves from naming it “Winter is Coming.”) We’d also love to share the warmth by donating winter apparel to those who need it most. Come join us on Friday 16 December, take part in some holiday cheer and do a little something for others. In addition to accepting coat donations, we’ll be hosting our own mini version of Secret Santa. The fun starts at 20:00!

Winter Welcoming

As per usual with our events lately, the event location will only go out to approved attendees. We’re doing our best to curate a guest-list that leaves everyone feeling comfortable. If interested in joining, we do ask that you RSVP below. You’ll only be contacted with information directly pertaining to this event.

We will be accepting coats, winter-specific clothing and blankets/comforters for refugee aid organizations. Adult clothing will be donated to Small Projects Istanbul, while clothing for children and teenagers will go to Kids Corner. We’ve been informed that there is an especially high demand for winter clothing for boys ages 4 to 12 and girls ages 7 to 9. Please take additional care to make sure that your donation is clean and in good condition.

To get in the holiday swing, we’ll also host a Secret Santa. If you wish to participate, bring a small wrapped/bagged gift and let someone from the Yabangee team know on arrival (we’re easy to find). We’re setting the limit on gifts at 10 TL, so you might have to get creative if you really wanna impress the recipient. We’ll be kicking this off sharply at 23:30, so don’t be too late!

Looking forward to a festive evening! Don’t forget to RSVP!

Spring Social RSVP
If you don't know anybody on the Yabangee team, please include a link to your Facebook or other social media channel.
Note: We're doing our best to find a balance between welcoming those who want to join us and maintaining a safe, fun and relaxing atmosphere for our guests. Space is limited and we mean no offense if we're unable to extend an invitation to someone.
