British producer, multi-instrumentalist and live performer Youngr takes the stage at Babylon on Saturday 17 October, presented by Pozitif. Known for transforming electronic music into dynamic one-person performances, Youngr has built an international following through live looping, multi-instrumental musicianship and an improvisational approach that blurs the line between DJ set and live concert. His performances combine electronic production with funk, indie pop and dance music, creating an energetic show driven entirely by real-time performance. Tickets are available via Biletix.
Born Dario Darnell, Youngr first attracted global attention through a series of one-take live videos in which he reinterpreted songs by artists including The Temper Trap, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Daft Punk, Jamiroquai and Foo Fighters. His live-loop version of “Sweet Disposition” became a viral breakthrough, introducing audiences to an artist capable of rebuilding familiar songs from scratch using keyboards, guitars, bass, percussion and looping technology without relying on pre-recorded backing tracks.
Alongside these reinterpretations, Youngr has developed a catalogue of original music that blends house, indie dance, disco and melodic electronic pop. Singles such as “Out of My System”, “Monsters” and “Remember” showcase his ability to combine infectious rhythms with uplifting songwriting, while extensive international touring, including appearances at Ibiza residencies and Burning Man, has established him as one of the most engaging live performers in contemporary electronic music.
Rather than presenting electronic music as a fixed studio creation, Youngr approaches every performance as an evolving live process. His Babylon appearance offers an opportunity to experience an artist whose technical precision, spontaneity and musicianship have redefined what a solo electronic performance can be.
