What are some Yabangee contributors up to on this special day?

Alexander Heinz:
Netflix and… Well, I’ll order in and open a bottle of wine. Best Valentine’s Day ever!

Ayça Pınar Doğan:
We all know the general idea about Valentines Day; “I don’t need a day to express my love”. Touché, but it is still nice to do something special. So instead of going to a fancy dinner, I’ll take my boyfriend to my favorite spot in town; the sofas across from the Maiden’s Tower for sunset. There is an amazing view of the European side, where if lucky, you can sometimes see dolphins. Besides, what is better than holding hands with your beloved one while drinking tea?

Manohur Chand Poonyth:
9gag, memes, and chill with my one-and-only!

Abdelaziz Faramawy:
I will be at home and hugging my bed. Who needs a lover when you have the bed all for yourself, anyway?

Devanshu Bawa:
I am definitely considering a calmer place for the day, so I may be renting a house on the Princes’ islands and cook for my date.

Dilawer Dari:
I will go to my office for my morning lesson and teach English till 9:40 PM. Afterward, I will enjoy jazz music and a nice cocktail at a place next to my flat. Let me tell you something; being single rocks!

Hale Tuba Yılmaz:

I usually get a box of sour candy and a cheesy romantic movie to watch at home. I also own a Spotify list titled Anti-Valentine’s (Yes, I’m That Tired of This Day), so you get my feelings towards the V-day.

  1. Well, as I am single, I am planning to offer myself some gifts and chocolate, then, either sit in a nice place and enjoy something I love or go to the cinema: Joyeux Saint Valentin!
