From the organizers:

Accompanied by original sound effects, a funny encounter between an acrobat and a construction pipe sets the bar for creative storytelling.

At the festival, there is an entertaining show full of surprises from France for children: Toyo! Les Colporteurs, the famous circus group that has been producing new projects nonstop for a quarter of a century with a contemporary approach by changing the traditional understanding of circus, created Toyo! He is coming to Istanbul after successful tours all over Europe.

One day, Gillou hears a mysterious voice, and when he follows it, he finds an object that interests him. Trying to communicate with Toyo, a tough, huge, hollow pipe, Gillou manages to tame him, although it is difficult at first. Accompanied by the musician Coline, Gillou also takes shape and transforms Toyo from time to time into an airplane, a suit, a telescope or a house. Sometimes it gets over it. Sometimes it falls. Sometimes it gets lost. Sometimes it gets stuck too! This colorful interaction of the duo also marks the beginning of an unforgettable friendship.

One of the unforgettable performances of acrobat Gilles Charles-Messance, who worked in traditional circuses before starting his long-term collaboration with Los Colporteurs, was Washington Trapeze. Charles-Messance’s latest project, Toyo! While it triggers the imagination of children, it entertains them a lot.
