(Oct 9) The Blaze @ KüçükÇiftlik Park

French electronic duo The Blaze brings its DJ set tour to Türkiye this autumn as part of the Epifoni tenth anniversary celebrations, performing at KüçükÇiftlik Park on Friday 9 October. Formed by cousins Guillaume and Jonathan Alric, The Blaze has become one of the defining names in contemporary electronic music through an approach that places music and cinema on equal footing, creating emotionally charged productions that extend beyond the dancefloor. Tickets are available on BUGECE.

The project first gained international recognition in 2016 with “Territory”, a release whose self-directed music video quickly became a cultural landmark for its intimate storytelling and cinematic visual language. Rather than treating visuals as accompaniment, The Blaze developed a practice in which film and music evolve together, exploring themes of family, identity, masculinity and belonging. Their debut album Dancehall and its successor Jungle further established the duo as artists capable of combining house, downtempo and ambient electronics with deeply human narratives, producing songs such as “Virile”, “Heaven”, “Queens” and “Dreamer”.

Although celebrated for their audiovisual performances, The Blaze’s DJ sets offer a different perspective on their musical world. Drawing from their own catalogue alongside carefully selected electronic music, the duo constructs sets that move between melodic house, hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric textures, emphasising gradual emotional development rather than constant intensity. This approach has made them regular guests at major festivals and venues around the world while maintaining a distinctive artistic identity that resists conventional club formulas.

Across all three dates, audiences can expect a performance that reflects the qualities that have defined The Blaze’s career: immersive electronic music shaped by cinematic thinking, where atmosphere, rhythm and emotion remain inseparable.
