Kalamış Summer Festival is hosting Spanish flamenco singer Ángeles Toledano on Tuesday 5 September. The Spanish singer will be performing at Kalamış Atatürk Parkı. Born in a town in the province of Jaén, in 1995, María de los Ángeles Martínez Toledano started having an interest in music at a very young age. Spanish flamenco singer known by the stage name of Ángeles Toledano was taught by her grandfather her first cantes, Granaina, fandangos, tangos, tanguillo, etc… She sang in public for the first time at the age of 8. In 2010, the rising star of flamenco won the first prize in the Young Flamenco Contest organized by the Federación Andaluza de Peñas Flamencas. She proceeded her career by receiving many other awards.
On Tuesday 5 September, Ángeles Toledano will host a captivating flamenco evening for the crowd, featuring her colorful songs. The concert will immerse the audience with the enchanting melodies of flamenco. On stage, she will be accompanied by Benito Bernal on the guitar, along with Fernando and Alvaro Gamero on palmas.
