Is it raining heavier than usual? Is the summer hotter than before? If the ice is melting for the polar bears, why should you care? As the global community is Rising for the Climate on 8th of September, we, Kokopelli Şehirde, would like to discuss with you what is climate change, how it affects our life, and most importantly, what we can do about it.

Saran Selenge is a development practitioner and a trainer with an expertise in climate change adaptation and development finance. Based in Istanbul, Saran currently works at the United Nations Development Program, supporting countries in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Previously, she helped build capacity in her home country Mongolia to respond to climate change challenges through her work at the German development cooperation agency (GIZ) and NGOs. Saran has traveled extensively and intends to devote her life to ensure our home, the Earth, remains a beautiful place also in the future.
