Palestinian-French-Algerian artist Saint Levant returns to Volkswagen Arena on Thursday 10 December, presented by Pozitif and Live Nation. Following a sold-out debut performance, the multilingual singer, rapper and songwriter comes back with a catalogue that blends contemporary R&B, hip-hop and Arabic music into a sound shaped by movement between cultures, languages and identities. His work has quickly established him as one of the most distinctive new voices to emerge from the global alternative music scene. Tickets are available via Passo.
Born Marwan Abdelhamid, Saint Levant grew up between Jerusalem, Gaza, Jordan and France before later relocating to the United States, experiences that continue to inform both his music and lyricism. Writing and performing in Arabic, English and French, he explores themes of belonging, displacement, love and cultural memory through songs that move effortlessly between melodic rap, soulful production and Middle Eastern musical influences. Viral releases including “Very Few Friends”, “Deira” and “Love Letters / رسائل حب” introduced his work to an international audience while highlighting his ability to bridge multiple musical traditions without reducing them to simple fusion.
His latest album, AFANDI, expands this vision through a collection of songs that reflect on heritage, identity and personal history with increasing confidence and stylistic breadth. Rather than treating language as a barrier, Saint Levant uses multilingual songwriting as a central artistic tool, allowing different cultural perspectives to coexist within the same compositions.
On stage, Saint Levant combines the intimacy of singer-songwriter performance with the energy of contemporary hip-hop, creating concerts that feel equally personal and communal. His return offers audiences another opportunity to experience an artist whose work reflects the increasingly interconnected nature of contemporary global music while remaining deeply rooted in his own story.
