Techno producer and DJ Regal headlines RX FRIDAZE at FLUX on Friday 24 July, presented by RX Istanbul. Known for his powerful blend of peak-time techno, acid influences and cinematic melodies, the Spanish artist has become a prominent figure in Europe’s contemporary club circuit. His return sees him take over the night with an extended set that reflects both the driving energy of the dancefloor and the emotional depth that has come to define his productions. Born Gabriel Cassina, Regal first emerged through Madrid’s underground scene before gaining international recognition with releases on labels including Involve Records, Figure and his own imprint, Involve. His productions combine classic warehouse techno with elements of trance, electro and acid, creating a sound that is both forceful and melodic. Tracks such as “L’Éternité”, “Acid Is The Answer” and “Repeat” have become fixtures in the sets of many leading DJs, while his own performances balance intensity with careful musical progression.
Alongside his studio work, Regal has built a reputation through appearances at clubs and festivals across Europe, where his sets move fluidly between hypnotic rhythms, soaring synth lines and uncompromising percussion. Rather than relying on nostalgia or genre conventions, his approach draws from decades of electronic music while maintaining a distinctly modern identity.
