Fascinating indie band ‘Meimuna’ is in Istanbul!

The enchanting band Meimuna, who sing ‘Tristesse du Diable’, which has become the anthem of souls seeking light in our country, is in Istanbul! The band will take the stage at Asmalımescit’s newest live music venue ‘Blind’ on the night of October 7.
Founded in 2016 by singer and guitarist Cyrielle Formaz, Meimuna soon became one of the most valuable music projects on the Swiss and European scene. Playing with the boundaries of music and language, the group sits on the fringes of Anglo-Saxon folk and French poetry and explores a delicate, fragile land of expression that few artists know how to cultivate with such grace.
Meimuna has traveled all the way to China, Canada, Germany and Eastern Europe to promote their five EPs they have released to date.
