“The Dark Was Turning” @ SANATORIUM

SANATORIUM will host Çağla Köseoğulları’s third solo exhibition entitled “The Dark Was Turning” from Thursday 24 May through Saturday 7 July.

From the organizer:

“The Dark Was Turning” consists of ink on paper works as well as a video. Prepared by the artist using her eyes, hands and instincts as a kind of camera, the exhibition presents a reflection of traces and marks left on our mind of landscapes quickly passing by on a train journey and reveals the time perception lost in the flow of our routine life through connotations engraved in memory.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born in 1973 in İstanbul, Çağla Köseoğulları has graduated from Mimar Sinan University in 1998. She was assistant to Hale Tenger between 2007-2012.
