“A unique addition to the millennial tradition of puppetry.”
– Titerescent

“It masterfully handles big issues in a small world.”
– Heraldo de Aragon

Spanish puppeteer Javier Aranda is at the festival for the first time with his award-winning show, Life, in which he pushes the limits of hand puppetry and adds new dimensions to it!

In Aranda takes us on a heartfelt, emotional and fun journey in the world he built with only two hands and a sewing basket in Life. The characters of the story spend their entire life cycles on the stage, in the show where all the moments that make people human are told in plain language through puppets. Accompanied by light and music, this unique show bursts with laughter and tears.

Aranda, a graduate of Zaragoza Theater School, has managed to become the name sought by puppet lovers for more than 20 years with her performances in many important venues, especially the Aragón Drama Center, Temple, Arbolé and Gayarre Theatre. At the height of her creativity, Life was deemed worthy of many awards at the Huesca International Theater Festival, Feten Festival and Lleida Puppet Festival held in Europe, including the Julieta Agustí Golden Dragon Award for Best Performance.
