As part of the latest season of impressive offerings from IKSV, the mature soothing sounds of Turkish R&B and alternative come courtesy of rising star Kardelen at Salon IKSV on Friday 26 April. Tickets are available via Passo.

She started her education at the conservatory, studied viola and piano at high school, and continues her undergraduate studies at the opera department. She released her first singles ‘Ceketin Bende Kaldı’, ‘Emanet’ and ‘Yaktın Beni’ in 2022, a few months apart. She also drew attention with the music videos she envisaged for the songs she wrote the lyrics and music for, and released her first EP, Lütfen Kalbimi Sökün, in 2023 with the Universal Music Turkey label. She duetted with Mabel Matiz on the song ‘Severim’ from the album Fatih, and held the launch of her debut album Habibi last February, which was an event as colourful as her voice. She met the Salon audience in November 2022, and +1 Presents: Gezgin Salon Festival shone with her bursting energy last year.
