Salon IKSV will host singer-songwriter Julie Byrne on Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 November. Set to start at 21:30, tickets are priced at 50 TL (seated) 40 TL (standing) and 30 TL (students) and are available via Biletix (Wednesday/Thursday).

New Yorker singer-songwriter bio Grew up with the acoustic guitar melodies of his guitarist father etched in her soul. When her father was unable to play the guitar anymore due to his ailment, she learned to play at 17. The noise and chaos of the city she grew up in taught her to make composition wherein she would find peace. She released two LPs, the second of which, “Not Even Happiness” was confirmed by Pitchfork as “Best Newcomer”, and five star accolades from other platforms. As she claims in her song “Follow My Voice”, New York to her is hell, but she renders this city liveable for everyone with her guitar, poetic lyrics, and the green of the city. She even worked as ranger in Central Park pursuing this mission. She will visit Istanbul–a city that has a special relationship with chaos, and noise to meet with her followers of similar convictions.
