Salon IKSV will host Anatolian psychedelic outfit Islandman on Saturday 26 March. Doors are set to open at 20:00, with the performances kicking off at 22:00. Tickets are available via Passo.

Chasing new and exotic timbres by infusing their music with the vibrations of time, Islandman’s each stage performance provides a new space for exploration. Discovered in 2016 by the Danish indie label Music for Dreams, the band released their debut album ‘Rest in Space’ in 2017 following their EP ‘Ağıt’. Started as the solo project of Tolga Böyük, Islandman evolved into a multi-instrumentalist trio that brings listeners all around the world the sounds of Anatolian psychedelic. Having travelled the sonic grounds that stretch from Istanbul to North Africa, Tibet and Mongolia in their third and latest album ‘Godless Ceremony’, Islandman brings their shamanic performance to Salon.
