From the organizer:

Music has always been around Margaux Sauvé, born in Quebec to a family of musicians. She picked up the violin at the tender age of five. Moving on to the conservatoire in Quebec, she quit but still loved music so started to play violin in local bands. The pop music on the radio whilst growing up in Quebec wasn’t connecting with her, so she did her own. After a series of sorrowful but exploratory EPs, she released her mesmeric debut album ‘Heaven, Wait’ in 2022. She describes the album, which she recorded with her partner (in music and in life) Louis-Étienne Santais, as moving from the dark to the light. It offers a compelling snapshot of grief, growth and desire. Ghostly Kisses can be traced back to Röyksopp’s ‘Running To The Sea’ and London Grammar – Margaux first learned to sing by trying to imitate Hannah Reid, a gateway to discovering her own way of singing. You can practice for the concert by listening to the cover of The Cranberries’ ‘Zombie’.
