Williams first gained attention with her 2019 self-titled EP, introducing a style shaped by her classical training and her interest in darker strands of contemporary music. On As the Moon Rests, she expanded that sound, allowing more weight and dynamic contrast into her songwriting while keeping the sense of vulnerability that defines her work.
