Cellist Luka Šulić brings his Life Tour to Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage on Thursday 26 November, presented by Stagepass. Šulić first gained worldwide recognition through 2Cellos, the duo he founded with Stjepan Hauser in 2011. Their breakthrough interpretation of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” quickly went viral, leading to a series of successful albums that reimagined music by artists ranging from AC/DC and U2 to Ennio Morricone. Extensive international touring, including performances alongside Elton John, established the duo as one of the most visible crossover acts of the past decade while introducing the cello to audiences far beyond the traditional classical sphere.
Alongside his work with 2Cellos, Šulić has maintained an active solo career rooted in the classical tradition. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, he has performed at major concert halls including Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and Vienna’s Musikverein. His recording of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, released in 2019, reached the top of the US Classical Albums chart, demonstrating both his technical command and commitment to the classical canon.
