On Tuesday 15 September, The Black Keys perform at KüçükÇiftlik Park, presented by Epifoni and URU. The Grammy-winning American rock duo, made up of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, bring their blues-driven sound to Istanbul as part of their Peaches ‘N Kream world tour. Emerging in the early 2000s from Akron, Ohio, The Black Keys built their reputation on a stripped-down blend of garage rock, blues, and gritty guitar riffs. Over time, albums such as Brothers and El Camino expanded their reach, producing widely recognized songs like “Lonely Boy,” “Gold on the Ceiling,” and “Howlin’ for You.” Their mix of raw energy and melodic hooks helped define the sound of modern blues-influenced rock.
Across more than two decades, the duo has continued to evolve their sound while maintaining a strong connection to traditional blues roots. Their recent work arrives amid ongoing global touring, bringing both new material and well-known tracks back to live stages around the world.
Opening the evening will be American blues musician Robert Finley. Raised in Louisiana and known for his soulful voice and expressive storytelling, Finley has developed a strong reputation as a live performer, often collaborating with Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound label.
Together, the lineup brings two generations of blues-influenced music into the same program. The night promises a set shaped by driving guitar work, classic blues spirit, and the expansive sound that has made The Black Keys one of the most recognizable rock acts of the past two decades.
