Known for his genre-blending sound and charismatic stage presence, Masego (Micah Davis) is a multi-talented artist who fuses R&B, hip-hop, jazz, and soul into a style he proudly calls “trap house jazz.” Growing up in a musical family, Masego developed a deep love for music at an early age, mastering multiple instruments before stepping into the world of production and performance.
After making waves with The Pink Polo EP in 2015, he skyrocketed to fame with his collaboration with FKJ on the viral hit “Tadow,” amassing over 200 million views on YouTube. His debut full-length album, Lady Lady (2018), showcased his effortless blend of smooth vocals, saxophone solos, and irresistible grooves, earning him international acclaim.
Continuing to expand his sound and artistic vision, Masego released Studying Abroad: Extended Stay in 2021 and his critically acclaimed self-titled album Masego in 2023, further cementing his place as one of the most innovative and exciting artists of his generation. He has collaborated with big names like Don Toliver, Kaytranda, Yussef Dayes, SiR, and JID, seamlessly moving between genres while maintaining his unmistakable style.
