Label Project, with support from Future Generation 93.8, returns with another internationally renowned headliner in The Avener, performing at Klein Phönix Park on Saturday 11 June. The platinum selling deep house and electro DJ and producer Tristan Casara, under his moniker, has been an international star since 2014 when his reworking of of Phoebe Killdeer’s “The Fade Out Line” became a global hit.
Perhaps most of impressive of all is that The Avener’s “Fade Out Line” is his debut single, setting him on a path for success right out of the gates. The track charted in the top ten of France, Germany, Spain, Austria and earned him over 1,500,000 sales as well as Best Electro Act at the French Music Awards in 2016. In the years that followed, Tristan has doubled down in the genre with amazing production for his own tracks as well as in collaboration with other artists like Sting, Bob Dylan, Kadebostany, Lana Del Rey, and many others.
Tickets for The Avener’s June performance are on sale now via GMTicket.
His two full-length albums The Wanderings of the Avener (2015) and Heaven (2020) have earned The Avener additional critical claim, as well as an invitation to produce and score for major productions such as the second 50 Shades of Grey film. Following the release of his sophomore effort, The Avener has continued to tour internationally, having performed at prestigious events such as Cannes and massive festivals on multiple continents.
One of the most compelling reasons to catch The Avener live is that his brand of deep house and electro is extremely accessible. Engaging with artists that are as popular (if not moreso) than him, he tinkers on reworks that invite listeners both familiar and new to enjoy, allowing for a dynamic and memorable listening experience. It’s no surprise that his live shows have garnered such praise and invite fans of all types to indulge in the shared musical adventure.
Among crowd favorites that are worth checking out is most certainly Castle in the Snow in collaboration with Kadebostany, as well as Beautiful with Bipolar Sunshine. Both tracks are strong representations of the kind of appeal The Avener manages to navigate while staying true to his electro roots. Klein Phönix Park will be an ideal gathering place for the style of live performance The Avener is sure to bring, with plenty of space, immersive visuals, and the kind of vibe that lets people come together for a united journey.
Tickets are on sale now via GMTicket, with the event likely to sell out, so if interested, act soon.
