(Dec 22) Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz @ Salon IKSV

Salon IKSV will host one of the bands of the local alternative scene with proven adequacy, Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz, on Friday 22 December. Set to start at 22:00, tickets are priced at 40 TL (for students 30 TL) and are available via Biletix.

From the organizer:

They were formed in 2011 as a reaction to bad winters. At the beginning, it was a just a solo project for Kaan Boşnak, a young songwriter, to release his home recorded songs. His recordings were well-received, so Kaan joined forces with guitarist Engin Sevik and together they shared the stage with various musicians throughout the years. As a lyrical band formed by two young people who grew up as the members of a generation stuck in a metropolis and dangerously on the edge of becoming lost, they gave voice to the stories of their peers and released their first long player in September 2013. The band, whose current line-up includes Can Tunaboylu on bass guitar and Can Kalyoncu on drums, continues to push their early indie-folk sound with flourishes of electronica and dance beats. After a long time, they return to the Salon stage with songs from their upcoming 2018 album.
