‘Who is Bozo Texino?’ (2005) Screening @ SALT Galata – “Shot over a 16-year period, director Bill Daniel rode freights across Western USA carrying a Super-8 sound camera and a 16mm Bolex movie camera. During his travels he discovered the roots of a folkloric tradition that has gone mostly unnoticed for a century.”

The Veils @ Salon IKSV – “The founder of the band, Finn Andrews is described by the head of Rough Trade, Geoff Travis, as the young and ripe version of Nick Cave and David Bowie. The band gathered, dispersed, and finally re-formed with the efforts of Andrews.”
Gaye Su Akyol @ Babylon Bomonti – “Gaye Su Akyol stepped onto the scene in 2014 with her self-written LP ‘Develerle Yaşıyorum,’ skilfully fusing the traditional elements of Turkish music with pop, rock, and electronica. Akyol will be celebrating the release of her new album at Babylon with her smooth voice accompanying the synthesis of local instruments with the bass, drums and guitar.”

Sustainable Living Film Festival – “Is the world going for better or worse? We do not know the answer to this question, yet we know we live in a period in which we need to hear stories of kindness and ponder the good more than ever. In its ninth year, ‘Sustainable Living Film Festival’ organized by the voluntary efforts of the Sustainable Living Collective, aims to make these stories visible through documentaries.

“Cold Front from the Balkans” @ Pera Museum – “The exhibition focuses on different generations of artists and art groups from the Balkan region.
