British alternative rock band Wolf Alice will perform in Istanbul on Wednesday 15 July at KüçükÇiftlik Park, presented by Epifoni. Known for blending indie rock, grunge, dream pop, and alternative textures, the London-formed group has become one of the most influential British bands of the past decade. Tickets available via Passo.
Formed in 2010 and led by vocalist and guitarist Ellie Rowsell, Wolf Alice first gained widespread attention with their debut album My Love Is Cool, which captured the emotional restlessness of a generation with songs like “Bros” and “Moaning Lisa Smile.” Their follow-up album Visions of a Life expanded their sonic range and earned the prestigious Mercury Prize, establishing the band as a defining voice in modern British alternative rock.
The band continued to grow internationally with Blue Weekend, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and further showcased their ability to move between intimate, atmospheric songwriting and explosive guitar-driven moments. Their newest album The Clearing continues that trajectory, combining expansive arrangements with the band’s signature balance of vulnerability and intensity.
Renowned for their dynamic live performances, Wolf Alice have appeared on major festival stages around the world, including Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, and Radio 1’s Big Weekend. With Rowsell’s commanding vocals and the band’s shifting palette of heavy riffs and dreamlike melodies, their Istanbul concert promises a powerful night of contemporary alternative rock.
Opening the evening will be London-based alternative rock band Keo, whose debut EP Siren introduced them as a rising name in the UK guitar scene. Combining raw energy with sharp songwriting, the band has quickly drawn attention from critics and audiences alike, making them a fitting start to the night’s lineup.
