Salon IKSV will host English indie rock, synth pop outfit Wild Beasts on Thursday 11 January. Set to start at 21:30, tickets are priced at 80 TL (60 TL for students) and are available via Biletix.

Established in 2002 as “Fauve” by Hayden Thorpe and Ben Little; took off as Wild Beasts with the contribution of drummer Chris Talbot in 2004. Their energetic sound and Thorpe’s theatrical falsetto vocals were heard by Domino Records who adopted them in 2007. They collaborated with Richard Formby in their first three albums, and respected producers such as Lexxx, Leo Abrahams and John Congleton in their later two albums with electronic overtones. They got a Mercury nomination with their second album “Two Dancers”. They had millions of likes and views for their numerous hit songs. Their latest album “Boy King” (2016) included many hit dance tunes. They have become frontliners in many Turkish festivals thanks to their warm and intimate relation they forged with the audience at packed gigs. They are at Salon for the first time for a 10-year hot nostalgia.
