Yesilist has teamed with Koç Unviversity to host the Students Go Green project, August 29-31.
Project Overview: The Students Go Green event is a 3-day boot camp that brings together Turkish students, American students from the University of Chicago, environmental experts and local eco-pioneers to discuss environmental issues that affect Turkey and the region. The students involved in the boot camp will reside on Koç University’s campus and take part in seminars, workshops and activities that educate students and engages them in discussions geared towards solving certain environmental issues by using the campus as a base. Such discussions will focus on but are not limited to permaculture, sustainable food, recycle, reuse and up cycle, as well as sustainable design and architecture.
