Istanbul-based dream pop band The Away Days is set to take the stage at Babylon on Saturday 22 March! Founded by Can Özen and Orkun Atik, the band has evolved its sound over the years, blending indie rock, shoegaze, and Turkish influences into a unique dream pop experience. Gaining international recognition with their atmospheric performances at major festivals like SXSW and The Great Escape, The Away Days has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Jungle, Belle & Sebastian, Massive Attack, and Portishead. They have also made history as one of Turkey’s first official Fender Global artists, with their music featured in Victoria Beckham and Ralph Lauren runway shows.
