As we emerge from hibernation and indulge in this beautiful weather, we thought it timely to kick off a fun-filled Instagram photo competition to celebrate the occasion. For those out of the loop, we’ve recently undergone an Instagram transformation and launched the aptly named #yabangeeselects. Tag your photos and get featured!
The focus of this competition will be on the lovely residents of this beautiful city in the form of a portrait contest. The rules are simple!
- Nab a beautiful portrait of someone – friend or stranger – in the city.
- Post to instagram and include #yabangeeselects before Friday 15 July.
- Include up to 50 words of text (Turkish is OK too, we can translate) giving us a bit of insight into the photo.
That’s it! The Yabangee team will vote on the finalists and then our readers will be given the chance to vote on a winner! We’re also hard at work on some cool prizes, with the possibility of featuring the winners in a one-day gallery exhibition. More details on all that to be announced.
