Join us, along with many wonderful organizations, on Saturday 2 April for a community spotlight fundraiser and donation drive for Ukraine and displaced people in Istanbul. The event takes place at Arsen Lupen in Taksim, with doors opening at 15:00 and the event lasting late into the night.
We will be collecting cash donations at the event (with proceeds being split between a few different initiatives), as well as asking for some goods to be donated. A final list will be published this week of what we’re in need of.
About Those Involved:
Inshirah Collective is a social enterprise established within the Yusra Community Center, a resource and community space for displaced communities in Istanbul, Turkey. They empower their artisans by creating an environment for them to learn new skills and by providing them with fair living income and economic empowerment. All their products are made with upcycled and waste fabric and are meant to replace single-use plastic.
