İş Sanat will host Royal Northern Symphony // Lars Vogt on Friday, 27 April. Set to start at 20.30, tickets are priced at 75 TL and are available via Biletix.
From the organizer:
Lars Vogt, one of the leading pianists of his generation, stands out with his wide repertoire ranging from Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann and Brahms to Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and the dazzling Lutoslawski concerto. The German pianist, who is now increasingly working with orchestras as a conductor, has worked with prestigious ensembles such as Cologne, Munich and Zurich Chamber Orchestras, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Salzburg and Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
Royal Northern Symphony is the UK’s only full-time chamber orchestra. Founded in 1958, RNS has built a worldwide reputation for the North East through the quality of its music-making and the immediacy of the connections the musicians make with audiences. In recent seasons the orchestra has worked with conductors and soloists Christian Tetzlaff, Olli Mustonen, Reinhard Goebel, Katrina Canellakis, and Nicholas McGegan; a host of world-class singers including Sally Matthews, Karen Cargill and Elizabeth Watts, and also collaborated with leading popular voices such as Sting, Ben Folds, John Grant, and Mercury Rev.
