From the organizer:
Blending indie rock with electronic music and synth-pop, Roosevelt presented by % 100 Music, will be at 100% Studio on June 9, within PSM Loves Summer! Before Roosevelt, the stage will be the rising of Europe’s indie-folk artist M. Byrd.
Marius Lauber, also known as Roosevelt, who gained great recognition in a short time by gaining a wide audience with his hits “Montreal”, “Moving On” and “Strangers”, mixed his indie rock roots with electronic music with strong beats and synth pop.
Having made his debut with the Ep called Elliot in the early 2010s, Roosevelt continued his way by remixing tracks by CHVRCHES, Glass Animals and Charlotte Gainsbourg. While he managed to enter the top 10 on Billboard’s Electronic Music Chart, he simultaneously took the charts of Switzerland, Germany and Austria by storm.
After the extraordinarily successful release of his second album ‘Young Romance’, Roosevelt’s stage shows are like a festival production, with more than 100 live performances around the world. Over time, Marius became a world-renowned remixer, and in his last two album tours, he appeared on the world’s most famous festival stages such as Primavera Sound, Montreaux Jazz Festival, Governors Ball and Sziget.
Roosevelt, who brought together an open, free and inviting music with his latest album “Polydans”, summarizes his feelings while recording the album as follows: “It felt incredibly liberating to realize that I am now in a position to go to the studio every day and make just the right music.”
According to him, the “Polydans” was the most personal album he produced without any creative limitations.
M Byrd
Indie-Folk wunderkind M. Byrd was starting his career in late 2020 and already gathers more than 6 million plays on his first EP “Orion”, released in August 2021. His story started somewhere between Amsterdam and Paris in the van of Ilgen- Nur’s 2019 Power Nap Europe tour during which M. Byrd plays bass guitar in her live band. From that time on, M.Byrd swiftly forged his own path in the industry with his infectious indie neo-psych-folk sound.
