The Istanbul edition of Remix Academy – focusing on culture, technology & entrepreneurship – will take place at bomontiada on Thursday 29 March. Co-hosted by ATÖLYE, in collaboration with British Council and Pozitif, the summit explores the future of creative and cultural industries. Registration is set at 475 TL via Mobilet, with the day’s proceedings running from 9:00 to 15:30.

Remix Academy will bring together sector leaders for a series of inspiring talks, debates and panel discussion from local, national and international innovators from the arts, creative industries, start-ups, brands, policy and digital technology communities in the historical beer factory bomontiada co-hosted by ATÖLYE.
Remix Academy will take place for the first time in İstanbul in partnership with British Council and Pozitif on 29 March in bomontiada. Remix Academy produced in partnership with Google, Bloomberg, Mindshare and Dubai Design District, takes place annually in NYC, London and Sydney. It explores the future of the creative and cultural industries in attendance by thousands of creative leaders worldwide.
The first edition of Remix Academy Istanbul, co-hosted by the ‘Transdisciplinary Innovation Platform’ ATÖLYE and cultural hub bomontiada, will explore the trends shape the future of collaborations in arts and technology and will bring local, national and international innovators from the creative industries, technology, policy, digital technologies and arts.Inspirational talks, debates and panel discussions will be delivered by sector leaders including Co-Founder of ATÖLYE Kerem Alper, the Director of Design Museum Alice Black, Country Director of Facebook Turkey Derya Matraş, General Manager of Microsoft Murat Kansu, Digital Director of Tate Ros Lawler, Digital Development Director of Royal Shakespeare Company Sarah Ellis, Digital Director of British Film Institute Edward Humphrey, Co-Founders of REMIX Peter Tullin and Simon Cronshaw,.
The Istanbul edition of the event will tackle questions such as which entrepreneurs are creating new paths to audience development and how they monetise these relationships to create new resources? What are the emanating future infrastructure models that are enabling cultural and creative entrepreneurs to develop and sustain their ideas? How can existing arts and culture organisations can make themselves future-proof?
