From the Organizer:
We are transient beings. The current shift from centralized, hierarchical and possessive attitudes into a transparent, conscious sharing economy enables new systems design and highlights the effectivity of collective contribution – birthing a new sense of humanity – which our future demands from now.
Future Tellers 18’ aims to explore the Open and Closed states of Knowledge, Creating, Learning, Algorithms, and Data.
The theme calls for explorations in the area of The New Learning (Person and/or Machine), Profiling in the age of Data, Impact of Algorithms on Society and Culture, Privacy and Legal Rights & Freedoms of the user in digital realms.
Open-Calls for Creatives and the Open-Space embodies sharing of resources and acts as a catalyst to bring about peer to peer interaction; removing the interference of the institutions. We invite you all to our little experiment of what can be achieved through sharing.
