As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, İKSV is preparing to host musical titan Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds at Parkorman, Istanbul on 21 August. The tickets for the concert will be on sale for the general public on 14 February.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, known for their unforgettable live performances and songs such as Red Right Hand, Into My Arms, and Jubilee Street, will be meeting their fans at Parkorman on 21 August as part of the events held to celebrate İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV)’s 50th anniversary.
The Australian singer, songwriter, composer, screenwriter, poet and actor Nick Cave, who will be visiting İstanbul again after his unforgettable concert at the İstanbul Jazz Festival in 2018, has been a source of inspiration for many artists throughout his musical career. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, who are getting ready to deliver a performance that will remain in İstanbul’s memory for years to come, have recorded a total of 17 studio albums since their first album From Here To Eternity in 1984. Their latest album, Ghosteen, is considered to be one of The Bad Seeds’ best. The band’s albums have sold more than five million copies around the world, and their influence on the music world has been profound and wide-ranging.
