NADAS Istanbul, a new creative house in Yeldeğirmeni, Kadıköy, is open for workshops, classes, projects, and coworkers.
NADAS is a creative house dedicated to urban biodiversity, supporting projects that value the diversity of urban life and relationships between people and their environments. Among other activities, NADAS hosts creative workshops and classes, meetings and gatherings, gardening and planting, product sales, rentals, private art studios, and personal office work (coworking). By providing space for such ideas to be tested, realized, and shared, NADAS aims to build a community around living more slowly, mindfully and empathetically.
NADAS was founded in April 2018 by Jess Sim and Ahu Kopan, with the support of a wider team and community. The project occupies a 1930’s house with 3-floors and a garden. Rooms are available to coworkers – i.e. those looking for a comfortable environment to concentrate on personal office work – as well as for rent for private artist studios, movement classes, and meet-ups. NADAS also hosts regular classes and workshops, such as Tuesday evening art class with resident artist Gabrielle Reeves and daily yoga classes. In addition, NADAS is home to greensquaremeter, a platform dedicated to plant-care, including a plant-shop, plant-care consultancy, plant hotel, and Friday evening plant talks.
NADAS is open to proposals for independent projects and collaborations. To stay up to date with NADAS events, join their mailing list.
