Mobb Deep, a renowned American hip-hop duo consisting of Havoc (Kejuan Muchita) and Prodigy (Albert Johnson), emerged from Queens, New York, in the early 1990s, becoming iconic figures in East Coast rap. Their gritty, evocative lyrics and Havoc’s distinct production style contributed to their signature sound.
The breakthrough came with the 1995 album “The Infamous,” featuring classics like “Shook Ones (Part II).” The duo continued to make a significant impact with albums like “Hell on Earth” (1996) and “Murda Muzik” (1999).
