Zorlu PSM will host Ara Malikian on Wednesday 2 May. Doors are set to open at 20.30, with ticket prices start from 90 TL and available via Biletix.

Spanish violinist Ara Malikian is known as one of the most famous violinists of our day. Started playing the violin when he was a child, Ara Malikian is a genuine talent born to Lebanon civil war. Nevertheless, his gift was recognised and appreciated. He gave his first concert at the age of 12 and earned a full scholarship to the prestigious music academy Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover. He was a student of many renowned artists like Franco Gulli and Ruggiero Ricci. Malikian’s music can be described as classical with a touch of new age. His approach to music aims to reach out all sorts of music fans, including ones who don’t enjoy classical music. Malikian performed in famous venues worldwide such as Carnegie Hall and Barbican Centre. He was honoured with “Artistic Compliance and Dedication” award by German Ministry of Culture. He also composed music for famous directors such as Pedro Almodovar.
