The 3rd Collective Made Beer Night @ Komşu Kafe Collective

Komşu Kafe Collective will host the third edition of the Collective Made Beer Night on Saturday 19 May. The event starts at 18:00.

From the organizer:

Are we the decors of a story in which every field of life has been ripped off off our lives? Each relational and interactional process, desire, and wish of our have been commercialized. Our singular protests need to face the threat of being reduced to superficial narratives, while “24 hours” has become an outcome of a “lifestyle” rhetoric. One of the fundamental aspects of these processes is the alienation of production and consumption from each other. As “Beer Collectives” we insist considering reclaiming life holistically. We reject taking consumption as equal to exploitation of nature and labour. We aim to get involved in the production and labour processes. We propose mutual aid as oppossed to economic inequalities, an “alternative” self-sustainable local economy as oppossed to homogeneization of our palates and cultural richness. Not expertise but learning from each other, not mass production but re-simplification of life! In order to achieve these, we are organizing a beer tasting event in which we will be sharing the beers we’ve been producing in Istanbul for over two years. “Sky is the limit,” and the sky is the possibility of another world! Or floor is alienation, let’s jump!

We’ll be sharing: Lager, Wheat Beer, Blonde Ale, Unreal Ale, India Pale Ale, Black IPA

This event is not suitable for under 18 years old people cause of the alcohol.
