From the Organizer:

Street games are like a nostalgic wind, like a past tense that is spoken with lips. If we think about our society, it is a historical and nostalgic element that previous generations have to swim in the Bosphorus, wear the most beautiful clothes when going out to Beyoğlu, or put their holiday pads on their head. Here I find it meaningful that Emre Ezelli, who comes from sculpture education and who is designing games for the popular contest Survivor in the last year of his professional life as a designer, gave the exhibition the title of “One or two madness”.

Ezelli has focused on an anonymous game and toy culture that has been forgotten, either as a creative individual refusing to kill the street child in it, or perhaps together with both, with a good professional deformation. The exhibit consists of twelve works of antiquity Anatolian toys found in the forgotten archaeological excavations carried and reinterpreted today using wooden, tired metal and traditional woven kilim materials.Always continue to imitate the life-changing game! Perhaps the only power to keep the game cultures alive is art.

In fact, all of them were things that I had in my childhood, saw in my dreams and inadvertently left behind. It was time for them to get back to life, to fall prey to wind. I’m still looking for my blue car with no doors and wheels in a coal mine. Now, I share my dreams with you.
