“Mixer Session III” @ Mixer

Mixer is hosting its third “Mixer Session” exhibition from Friday 8 June through Saturday 4 August. This exhibition is pretty diverse in the mediums exhibited; video, photography, neon and canvas. Moreover, artists are chosen from all over Turkey through applications. Visit the exhibition at Mixer in Karaköy to support these artists’ artworks focusing on the topics such as space-body, piece-whole relations, individuality, identity, solitariness and memory.

From the Organizer:

Since the day it was established, Mixer aims to make art accessible to everyone, while creating an open platform for young artists to show their works. In accordance with this mission, the exhibition series Mixer Sessions, where a group of artists is selected within the applications under an open call to senior, masters and doctoral students of the Faculties of Fine Arts, will present its third edition between June 8 and August 4, 2018.

Selected by Mixer, the conceptual framework of the artworks focus on the topics such as space-body, piece-whole relations, individuality, identity, solitariness and memory. The exhibition will feature various mediums including photography, video, neon and canvas.
