Jakuzi, one of the important representatives of the local music scene with its productions in the synth-pop, new-wave, dark wave, and post-punk genres; is our guest on the evening of November 24th!
Established in 2016, Jakuzi made an immediate entry into the independent music scene with “Koca Bir Saçmalık”. Standing out with their songs mainly synth-pop, new-wave, dark wave, post-punk, krautrock, and lo-fi; released their first album, “Fantezi Müzik”, in cassette format, produced by Taner Yücel. The album was re-released with the Berlin-based record label City Slang Records, with the addition of four new tracks. Jacuzzi, which is featured in many important channels such as The Quietus and The Guardian; He performed in many cities in Europe such as Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Zurich. The team took part in many big festivals such as Primavera Club, Donaufest, Synästhesie Festival, and Pop Kultur; Along with their musical idol, John Maus, he also gave a sold-out concert in Berlin in 2018. Jakuzi; released their second album “Hata Payı”, which is about the struggle to survive today, despite himself and external factors, with a dark approach in 2019. The group, which released their short “Açık Bir Yara”, which they worked on during the pandemic period, with the City Slang Records label in the summer of 2021; He shared the single “Merasim”, the first demo they made with Taner Yücel in 2015, with the audience on Shalgam Records label in the same year. Continuing to give active concerts in Europe and Turkey these days, the group continues its preparations for its third studio album.
