Halka Art Project will host the solo exhibition “Innocents” of artist Lale Atunel from Thursday 8 to Wednesday 21 June. The opening reception kicks off at 19:00 on Thursday.

halka art / gallery opens its doors to the personal exhibition “Innocents” of Lale Atunel between 8-21 June 2017. The “Innocents” aims to remind the ordeal that animals will keep enduring as they have endured until now, and to declare their sacredness.
The exhibition that combines the forms of religious representation with todays’ baby commemorative items, is made up of acrylic paintings on wood which uses the tradition of icon as a language, wax moulages and wool knit sculptures.
Lale Altunel is graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts Sculpture Department and then completed the Master and Proficiancy in Art programs in Sculpture at the Marmara University Institute of Fine Arts.
In 2016 she made her first solo exhibition as a resident artist in Museo La Neomudejar C.A.V , Madrid and she participated various exhibitions and festivals at home and abroad.
