The 27th Istanbul Theatre Festival organized by IKSV proudly announces an electrifying addition to its program: “Double Murder” by the acclaimed Hofesh Shechter Company. Audiences will have the unique opportunity to experience this extraordinary dance spectacle on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 November, at the prestigious Zorlu Performing Arts Center (Zorlu PSM). Doors open at 20:00 with tickets available via Passo (Tuesday, Wednesday).
Hofesh Shechter, known for his groundbreaking choreography and innovative approach to dance, has garnered international acclaim for pushing the boundaries of the art form. His company, Hofesh Shechter Company, consistently delivers mesmerizing and thought-provoking performances, and “Double Murder” is no exception.
The 27th Istanbul Theatre Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), has a longstanding tradition of bringing world-class productions to Istanbul’s vibrant cultural scene. “Double Murder” is set to be a highlight of this year’s festival, promising an unforgettable experience for audiences.

A thrilling new double bill by internationally celebrated choreographer Hofesh Shechter, presenting two distinctly contrasting pieces for our times. While Clowns unleashes a whirlwind of murderous, poisonous anarchy, Shechter’s new creation, The Fix, brings a tender, fragile energy to the stage. It offers a human, raw and compassionate moment where violence, tenderness and hope are all laid bare through Shechter’s achingly beautiful, cinematic lens. Performed by inimitable dancers and accompanied by the epic sounds of a Shechter-composed score, Double Murder explores painful truths and delves into our deepest emotions.
